Now offering Radon Testing!
Wright Inspections can now handle your Radon testing needs with an EPA approved Continuous Monitoring Machine.
What is Radon? Radon is an odorless, invisble radioactive gas that seeps up out of the soil. It is created by the natural breakdown of other radioactive materials that are deep in the ground. Long term exposure to this gas will lead to radioactive particles being trapped in your lungs and can eventually lead to lung cancer.
Depending on the area you live in and type of home construction, you may have elevated levels of Radon in your home. North Phoenix, Prescott, and other nearby areas have pockets of elevated Radon. If high levels of Radon are detected i your home, it can be easily mitigated with a ventilation system designed for this purpose.
Our Radon Monitoring equipment takes readings of Radon in the air every hour, along with temperature and humidity levels. Radon levels can fluctuate throughout the day and we want to know the highs and the average for a 48 hour period.
